A MEASURE OF TIME

Photo taken in early 2000s. Around 1950 an old woman lived in the nearby house alone. One day she hung out her milk jug to dry. By evening she was dead and no-one was there to take in the jug. Over the years the branch grew around the jug. Eventually the growing tree will break the jug. It reminds us that nothing lasts forever and we don't know when or how suddenly we will die.
